Please read these terms carefully before placing an order with Lasting Lyrics. By submitting an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not place an order.
Lasting Lyrics is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom, operating under the trading name Lasting Lyrics.

By placing an order with Lasting Lyrics, you confirm that:
A contract between you and Lasting Lyrics is formed when we confirm receipt of your order and payment has been successfully processed.
To place an order, you must complete the order form on our website, providing accurate details about yourself and the person your song is for, and complete payment via our payment provider (Stripe).
Your delivery timeframe begins once both of the following have been received:
If your questionnaire is incomplete or we require further information to begin production, we will contact you by email. Any delay caused by incomplete information will not be counted against your delivery timeframe.
We reserve the right to decline an order at our discretion — for example, if the content requested falls outside what we are able to produce, or if the request contains content we consider inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
Delivery timeframes by package are as follows:
All timeframes are measured from receipt of your completed questionnaire and confirmed payment, during normal working hours. We will always aim to deliver within the stated timeframe, but these are targets rather than guarantees. If there is an unexpected delay on our part, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
Your song will be delivered as a high quality MP3 audio file by email to the address provided at the time of ordering. Signature and Prestige packages also include a lyric sheet in PDF format. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided is correct — we are not responsible for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect email address.
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds:
A revision round covers a set of changes communicated in a single email. Revision requests must be submitted by replying to the delivery email. Each revision request should be as complete as possible — multiple separate emails asking for individual changes will be treated as a single revision round where they relate to the same delivered version of the song.
Revisions are available for adjustments to lyrics, tone, specific details, or named content. We cannot guarantee that a revision will result in a fundamentally different song if the original questionnaire information was accurate and the song was produced in line with the brief provided.
Additional revision rounds beyond those included in your package are available to purchase. Please contact us at hello@lastinglyrics.co.uk for current pricing.
Revision requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original delivery date. After this period, your order will be considered complete and no further revisions will be available.
Upon delivery of your song and receipt of full payment, you are granted full ownership of the delivered audio file and lyric sheet for personal, non-commercial use. This means you may:
You may not, without our prior written permission:
If you wish to use your song in a commercial context or seek a broader licence, please contact us to discuss this separately.
Lasting Lyrics retains ownership of the underlying composition, production, and arrangement of your song. We will never resell, redistribute, or reuse your specific song for another customer. However, we may use brief, anonymised, or non-identifiable excerpts of our work — such as short audio samples — to demonstrate the quality of our productions to prospective customers, unless you have specifically asked us not to at the time of ordering.
Lasting Lyrics uses a combination of professional music production tools and technology, alongside human curation, quality control, and creative direction, to produce each song. The story, details, and brief you provide form the foundation of your song — the production process translates this into a finished audio track with lyrics, melody, and vocals.
We do not make specific guarantees about the exact lyrical content, structure, or style of the finished song beyond what is reasonably expected from the brief provided. Music is a creative process, and the finished song represents our professional interpretation of your story.
Every song is produced individually in response to your specific order. No song is reused or resold to any other customer.
By submitting your order, you confirm that:
We reserve the right to decline, modify, or not include specific content that we consider inappropriate, harmful, or unlawful. If we are unable to fulfil an order as a result of the content requested, we will contact you to discuss an alternative approach.
You are responsible for ensuring that commissioning a song as a gift is appropriate in the circumstances — particularly in the case of memorial or tribute songs, where we ask that you consider the wishes of those close to the person being remembered.
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable charges. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering via our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
Our standard prices are as follows:
From time to time we may offer limited founding or early-access pricing, which will be clearly marked on the website. Such offers are available for a limited number of orders only, and standard pricing applies once the offer period or allocation has ended.
We do not offer discount codes, seasonal sales, or price-matching. The price shown at the time of ordering is the price you will pay.
Each song produced by Lasting Lyrics is a bespoke, personalised product created specifically for you. As such, it is exempt from the 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which excludes contracts for the supply of goods or digital content made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
Production begins promptly upon receipt of your completed questionnaire and confirmed payment. Once production has begun, we are unable to offer a cancellation or refund.
If you have paid but not yet submitted your questionnaire, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@lastinglyrics.co.uk — we may be able to cancel your order prior to production commencing, at our discretion.
Please see our Refund Policy for further detail on what happens if something goes wrong with your order.
